Mud Products Development Laboratory

The laboratory is located in the basement of Tallinn University Haapsalu College (12 Lihula Road, Haapsalu). It holds mud storage, a mud disintegrator, a freeze dryer (liofilizator), and necessary equipment for analysing the composition of mud (XRF spectrometer and ultra effective high pressure chromatography system). Here we determine the composition of different muds and conduct tests with new dry and wet mixtures (mud/peat, mud/mineral water).

The Mud Products Development Laboratory provides the following services:
